Our People

John C. Olson, CPA

Raised in Charles City, Iowa, John received his Bachelor of Arts degree in Accounting from the University of Northern Iowa in 1991. You can count on John for all of your tax planning and consulting needs, as well as business establishment and liquidation assistance. John has experience with agricultural and other business activities with over 20 years preparing individual, partnership, corporation, and not for profit tax returns. John is also experienced in audits, compilations and reviews with emphasis on governmental and not for profit organizations. John belongs to the AICPA, ISCPA, and is currently licensed in Iowa. John's community involvement includes being an Eagle Scout and various civic works. John is currently the Treasurer of the Floyd County Community Foundation. John is married and his daughter is in high school. John and his wife enjoy riding motorcycles and going camping and boating on the Mississippi.

OUR HISTORY

Kronlage & Olson, P.C., Certified Public Accountants, was formed in 2010 with the inclusion of John C. Olson, CPA in the ownership group of practice. The shareholders have been associated with various CPA firms for over 40 years in various positions before forming the firm today. 

 

Our Credentials

Our firm participates in the Peer Review program prescribed by the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Iowa Society of Certified Public Accountants. Our firm was last reviewed in May 2015. The resulting report stated that all of our accounting practices and procedures complied with or exceeded the standards of the industry. Click here to view our most recent peer review report.

The firm maintains its high level of competence through its membership in various professional organizations.  The company presently qualifies for and has membership in the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA), the Iowa Society of Certified Public Accountants and the AICPA Governmental Audit Quality Center.

The firm is in compliance with all registration and permit requirements relating to the practice of public accounting in the State of Iowa.  The firm has a current Permit to Practice for the State of Iowa.  All CPA’s have current licenses and Permits to Practice in the State of Iowa.
